The Basic aim of the Shutterbugs Society is to bring out the creativity of students, encouraging them to express themselves through photography – participating in workshops, walks, competitions, and courses.  The SBS aims to explore the connection between the eye, the camera, and the spirit by fostering the growth of artistic vision and technical knowledge.  The club shall provide an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers and hobbyists at all levels of experience and with interests in all types of photographic imagery.  The club shall offer a means for members to share ideas and knowledge with each other, and promote an interest in photography throughout the community through exhibitions and public events.
