UNPREDICTABLE... UNSCRIPTED: Street Photography Seminar
The Unpredictable... Unscripted Filipino Street Photography curated by Rick Rocamora at the Vargas Museum, UP Diliman. A lecture held on February 7 about “Managing Your Photography Career Path in the Digital Age by Rick Rocamora himself. He was the one who noticed Xyza Cruz Bacani's (the Filipino OFW at Hong Kong who got famous for her Street Photography) works and guiding her in building Xyza’s photography career.
The SBS members were filled with knowledge though shared experiences of Rick in Street Photography, especially with Documentary Photography. He explained how important it is to know the story behind your subject and how it affects story of your photograph. He shared how he walks through the streets of Quiapo and his interactions with the people within the community. He also explained how his photographs helped and changed the lives of people.
